چکیده
[2]Research Progress(10.5 points) In this project, we investigated the role of Nand C-terminal domain of human voltage-gated proton channel Hv1 in the gating mechanism using fluorescence technology. The plan in details is as follows: (1) To determine the interaction between Nand C-terminal domains, the N-terminal domain was cloned, expressed and purified. (2) The interaction between Nand C-terminal domains was detected by GST-pull down and ITC. (3) The interaction between divalent metal ions, classical inhibitors of Hv1, with the C-terminal domain of Hv1 was studied by CD spectra and fluorescence lifetime spectroscopy.

Low Dropout Based Noise Minimization of Active Mode Power Gated Circuit
Power gating technique reduces leakage power in the circuit. However, power gating leads to large voltage fluctuation on the power rail during power gating mode to active mode due to the package inductance in the Printed Circuit Board. This voltage fluctuation may cause unwanted transitions in neighboring circuits. In this work, a power gating architecture is developed for minimizing power in a...

The voltage sensor domain (VSD) is the key module for voltage sensing in voltage-gated ion channels and voltage-sensing phosphatases. Structurally, both the VSD and the recently discovered voltage-gated proton channels (Hv channels) voltage sensor only protein (VSOP) and Hv1 contain four transmembrane segments. The fourth transmembrane segment (S4) of Hv channels contains three periodically ali...

Voltage-gated proton (Hv) channels play an essential role in phagocytic cells by generating a hyperpolarizing proton current that electrically compensates for the depolarizing current generated by the NADPH oxidase during the respiratory burst, thereby ensuring a sustained production of reactive oxygen species by the NADPH oxidase in phagocytes to neutralize engulfed bacteria. Despite the impor...

Several types of ion channels, the proteins responsible for the transport of ions across cell membranes, are described. Those of most interest are responsible for the functioning of nerve cells, and are voltage gated. Here, we propose a model for voltage gating that depends on proton transport. There are also channels that are proton-gated, of which some are bacterial. For one, a structure is k...
